Bushbound! Boundering Etosha National Park, Andersson’s Camp is part of the Ongava Game Reserve. Ongava meaning Rhino in Otjiherero, is one of Namibia’s most significant private game reserves. Established as a rhino sanctuary in 1990, it is also home to elephant, giraffe, zebra, black-faced impala, kudu, and countless bird species. Red-billed hornbills teeter on a Mopane tree with its butterfly-shaped leaves. The inspiring conservation camp’s purpose is to reintroduce wildlife, protect species and subspecies and rehabilitate the land.
