Landing in Milan, the city still clinging to me, then the drive through tunnels swallowing the light. And suddenly, everything changes. The brightness softens, the air turns gentle, almost silky. The restless hum of the city fades, replaced by stillness.
Now only the quiet rhythm of water against stone, the soft lapping of the lake, as if time itself has slowed to match it. Buongiorno GRAND HOTEL TREMEZZO! 🧡 that seems to have stepped straight out of an orange-hued fairytale… with ivy trailing softly along its walls, wildflowers growing up the hills and a kind of warmth and unique hospitality that feels unmistakably, beautifully Italian.
For me as a photographer, it is irresistible, every corner inviting, every detail alive with quiet poetry. The light lingers just a little longer here, as if it, too, wants to be captured. And through my lens, it all becomes something even more luminous, more intimate, as though the story of it had been waiting for to tell it…
