with her passion for cutting-edge architecture, unique design, contemporary art, german-persian photographer patricia parinejad
has published several books with taschen as a producer and writer, collaborated on precious book projects with air france and pommery and her work as a contributing photographer is featured in the international press.
her personal work is part of the permanent collections of LACMA, los angeles and the MON, curitiba, brazil.
solo exhibitions and groupshow worldwide as well as a prize at the arles photofestival brought her personal work into various private collections.
with her strong design ethics she has been commissioned mostly by up-market clients seeking unique and individual visual expressions for their work. she continues working with high end architectural and designfirms and developers as well as luxury hotel groups but also with the german child's aid organisation KINDERNOTHILFE.
for the past five years she has been photographing the architecture of oscar niemeyer being featured in a solo exhibition at the MAC/Niteroi.

her artistic work is poised on the boundary between art and documentation, uniting meditative methods and an approach of resolute engagement with a critical view towards the decline of today’s world.
highly commited to the environment her latest artistic body of work - the tryptichon 'GREEN ART' features digitally manipulated images of nature -
with a current exhibition at NEW THEME. LOS ANGELES.
currently she is working on a documentary about the architecture of rio's favelas with the support of a grant by the german general consulate.
patricia's approach to photography is immediate, direct. a dialogue about vision and precedent, influence and inspiration, theory and practice.
having lived and travelled in all continents her photographs feature the blurring bounderies between art, architecture and design.
she has created art that envelops architecture instead of the other way round. patricia understands the value of tradition as well as the importance of pushing contemporary concepts and challenges the interplay between the two.

patricia gives lectures and conferences about interior design photography at different institutions, she is a YW certified yoga teacher and holds an M.A.in american and english literature.
